Same for everybody. We agree the hours before a sprint starts, and I itemize the work. The first 30 minutes is free, so we can tell whether there is something worth doing.

How sprints work.

We start with a free 30-minute consult. You show me the repo, the idea, or the mess. I tell you whether I can help.
We pick a cadence. One, two, three, or four-week sprints. Whatever fits how your team already works.
Back-to-back work costs less. Sprint one is agreed hours × $90. Each consecutive sprint after it has a 25% bulk-rate discount on its own line.
You get a written handoff. At the end of a jump-in, you know what changed and what I would do next.
