AI-led product engineering · Ocala, FL

Big product work.Right here in Ocala.

I build the software, systems and practical AI tools that a growing business eventually needs. You get a senior builder you can sit across the table from, not a mystery team two time zones away.

Close enough to be useful

The first meeting can be a real meeting.

I am based in Ocala. If a whiteboard, a walk through your operation, or a conversation with the people doing the work will get us to the right answer faster, I can show up for it.

Then I do what a builder does: turn the useful part of that conversation into a product your team can actually use.

The kind of thing I would build for

A real business problem,not a shiny demo.

These are examples of the work, not client lists. I start with the bottleneck that is costing your people time, money, or sleep.

The horse and equine trade

The kind of thing I would build for a business juggling inquiries, schedules, paperwork and follow-up across texts, inboxes and notebooks.

One calm place for the work to land, with the right person seeing the next thing at the right time.

Home services

The kind of thing I would build for an operation where estimates, job notes, photos and the next call are spread across too many tools.

A workflow that gets from the first call to a finished job without making somebody copy the same information three times.

Professional offices

The kind of thing I would build for a team buried in intake, documents, status questions and repeatable internal decisions.

A practical internal tool that handles the routine work and leaves people with the calls that need judgement.

Why “local” is not the whole pitch

I am local. The work has to hold up anywhere.

Brick City Lawn

Brick City is Ocala's nickname, and that is where the name comes from. Brick City Lawn is my own local business, and it shares the name. I know what it feels like when a small operation needs a better way to keep work moving.

OwnAmerica

I was the full-stack engineer and UX lead on the product. It was acquired by Renters Warehouse in 2019.

64 Analytics

I built the data import pipeline, web application and infrastructure. It was acquired by Rule42 in October 2026.

The rate is not a secret

$90
an hour.

Same rate for everyone. We agree the hours before I start, I itemize the work, and the first 30 minutes is free. No local-business markup. No mystery retainer.

Start small if you want

Bring me the thing that keeps getting pushed to next week.

A messy spreadsheet. The customer step nobody owns. A piece of AI-made software you are not sure you can trust. I will tell you straight whether there is a build worth doing.
