Custom e-commerce, built to be yours

A real store.Not a pile of apps.

I build custom Shopify storefronts that look like your business, run on Shopify’s hosted platform, and do not leave you stuck calling a developer for every change.

The smart place to spend the money is the part your customer sees.

I use Shopify for the store plumbing it already runs well: hosting, checkout and the standard commerce machinery. I build the storefront around your business instead of squeezing it into a paid-theme box.

That keeps the build focused. Where Shopify can do the job natively, I do not sell you an app-shaped headache just to look busy.

Built custom, not assembled

Your store should looklike it belongs to you.

A storefront with your shape.

I design and develop the theme around your products, voice and customer journey. Brand names and logos can live in settings, so a rename is a small, reviewable change instead of a rebuild.

The boring parts done right.

Products, pages, menus and policies are kept in the project and written to the store with Shopify’s own tools. That is repeatable setup, not a scavenger hunt through the admin.

No app tax by default.

For a straightforward store, Shopify’s native variants and theme work can cover common product choices without another monthly app bill. If your requirement really needs an app, I will say so plainly.

The handoff is the product

Give your favorite AI agent a shop manual.

Your design, product details, pages, menus and policies live as plain files in a repository you own. That makes a change a thing you can read, review and keep, instead of a mystery click in somebody else’s admin.

  1. You ask your AI agent for a change. It edits the store files in the repository.
  2. The change gets reviewed. Nothing earns a blind push because an agent sounded confident.
  3. Shopify’s own command-line tools put the approved change in the store. You get written instructions and checks for doing this safely.

For the technical reader: the theme stays in source control, while the catalog and store content are kept as data files and written through Shopify’s tools.

Straight numbers

One rate.
No smoke.

$90 an hour.

I bill storefront work in agreed, itemized sprints. The first sprint is at the regular rate; each consecutive sprint after that has a separate 25% bulk-rate line. We agree the hours before the sprint starts.

You pay Shopify directly for your plan, at Shopify’s current price. I do not bury that in my rate or pretend it is free.

No fairy tales

What I do not automate.

This is your business, your money and your name. Some decisions belong with you and Shopify, not with an AI or with me clicking around in the dark.

Your Shopify account and plan

You create, own and pay Shopify directly. You approve permissions and keep control of the account.

Payments, taxes and the domain

Payments require your identity check. Tax registration, domain and DNS decisions belong to you. I can explain the work, but I cannot make those calls in your name.

Apps and launch approvals

You decide whether to install an app and approve it. You also make the final call on launch items only a person can approve.

Shopify-hosted checkout and accounts

Shopify hosts checkout, sign-in and customer account pages. The theme cannot fully control their layout or every detail, and they remain Shopify’s part of the service.

Built toward a standard.
Checked like it matters.

I build the storefront toward accessible patterns and check it with automated tools. That is useful evidence, not a magic stamp: automated checks cover only part of accessibility. Real keyboard, zoom, screen-reader and human testing still matter, including on the checkout and account pages Shopify hosts.
